Got a little bit of Florida's warm showers.
And of course we brought our favorite old Geezers with us. We always have so much fun with them. We love them!!Fortunately or UNfortunately (I'm still not sure which)
It happened to be Gay Days, The Flower and Garden Festival, and Star Wars Weekends all rolled into one!! *Please note: GAY DAYS IS NOT SPONSERED BY DISNEY AND WAS A VERY EYE OPENING EXPERIENCE* Red's the gay pride color. haha.
So we had reservations to eat at this little English Pub called the Rose & Crown on the lake in Epcot. We had it planned so we could watch the fireworks while we eat there hoping that they'd give us an outdoor table. And sure enough...for SOME reason they gave us probably the best table in the place--right out closest to the fireworks on the lake. hm.. coincidence? I think not.By the way, Illuminations, Reflections of Earth at Epcot (the fireworks show) are the best fireworks ever! FIRE, FOUNTAINS, AND FIREWORKS. Kinda reinacting the creation of the world with a great message of how we're all down here together moving forward. It's neat. Way worth the whole trip to Disney World. So we order, our waiter's name was Will and he was such a sweetheart.

So before the fireworks had started we had ordered some Apple Crisp. And when they had started I was looking around at everyone else and they were getting their food. I was like...what's taking them so LONG!?? But I was so into the show by the finale the the world opened and the flame lit, playing the song
"We go on to the joy and through the tears, we go on to discover new frontiers. With the courage of the years- we go on, moving forward now as one.
We go on--"
I looked over at Jake and then he got down and proposed! I was so blown away, I really was. I was not expecting that at all. When the fireworks had ended the whole restaurant was cheering. I was so embarassed. But it was fun. A great memory forever. All the waiters and waitresses came out singing in their English and Scottish accents all these songs. They had all signed/congradulated us on our certificate for having a "Magical Moment @ Disney." They brought us out champagne and this massive dessert and this guy that worked for Disney knelt by our table and started giving us all these great gifts!!
It was something that I will never forget and my Jakerdoodles couldn't have done it any better. He put so much work into it and made it so special. I just love that boy to death!
This picture of the Rose & Crown hangs in our house. We just love it.
And that's how MR. & MRS. Hess came to be.
