Walt Disney World 2008
We had such a great time at Disney World this year. One of the best times I'd have to say. All the Christmas decorations were up!! It was beautiful!
We stayed at the Carribbean Beach Resort. It really felt like the Carribbean- beaches and all.
We finally got to ride the new Toy Story 4D ride. Didn't love it at first, but the more we played- the more we loved it. And rode it over and over and over...

Jim grabbed two pair of glasses and we all about peed our pants when he hung his extra pair on some guy's backpack. He was just so proud of himself!!
Everest was just as cool as always. Tallest mountain in Florida (literally!)We were thinking of making this one our Christmas card this year? Whaddya think??Oh the time at the bus stops...

We checked out Wilderness Lodge and ate at Whispering Canyon Cafe.

It was so roudy in that restaurant. It's supposed to be. They had all these stick horses and they'd let the kids run around this big circle in between the tables. And when there get to be too many they'd make them all stop, line up, and play this race horse cowboy music and let them all GO!! It was so much fun to watch.

Everywhere you'd go the wreaths were themed. It was so neat!

At Epcot

We ate at the Rose and Crown of course. Jim and Rhonda had never eaten there...so we took em'! When we got there- we had reservations but apparently we were the first ones to the restaurant. So they have this strange ritual where they knight the first man who comes to the restaurant, sword and all. It happened to be Jake! So they crowned him and read this silly little page.."GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!" yes..they said that even! haha. It was great.

He took it so well and wore the crown all through lunch.

Of course- it was another one of Disney's Magical Moments awarded to Jake!
Later in the week was Jim and Rhonda's Anniversary so we let the Sci-Fi diner know before we went. They surprised them with a cute sunday with lighted straw things. They even got pins!!!
And then there was the lovely monorail trips. Jake and Jim dared me to fall asleep on some man's shoulder. Well- just Jim I guess. Jake gets embarrassed to easily. So here was me preparing and then the follow-through.

But the best part of the whole trip...

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!!

We had to buy special tickets and they didn't let a whole ton of people in.
All the cookies and hot chocolate we could eat! They had a special Christmas firework show and a special Christmas parade. Dance parties and story time...just alot of fun things.

All the characters were out dressed christmasy...Even Jakes favorite- the Country Bears.

I always knew that one day I'd have a run in with my least favorite Disney character of all time.
That dang Dale. I always knew what I'd tell him. After seeing him throw some little girl down on the ground in Disneyland a few years back...I always knew I'd have a chance to give him a piece of my mind. And when I saw him at a dance party..I knew this was the time.. In this picture I was pretending to stab him.

But after this picture we had a nice talk... Sure he looks all nice and friendly on the outside, but little did I know he told me he was an alcoholic. He told me through gestures of course. We went outside and I put my arm around him, I told him what I had seen him do..and asked him if he felt sorry. He assured me he was drunk and he did feel sorry. So I we made up...after all this time.
Jake spotted a life size Gingerbread house. They had a list of how many pounds of whatever it took to make it! It was crazy! And they had a whole carosel made out of chocolate!! Once again..the list for that was very very long!
They had the best Christmas music playing throughout the whole trip there. The coolest thing at the party was that they made Mainstreet snow!! It was so cool!! So were at DisneyWorld at 12:30a.m. just listening the the beautiful Christmas music while it's snowing, having the time of our lives..and we get this call... Tiffany was due to have her appendix taken out in a half hour and we were just like...uh..

But the Christmas firework show was great! We had the trip planned to be just the two of us, and we're glad we could get our elderly to come along, the more the merrier!!! Thanks guys!
We had the greatest time. We always do there. It's the Happiest Place on Earth/next to Disneyland. Thanks for reading this whole entire post.

In memory of those we've lost.
