Mr. Riley went to Disneyland!
We love going to Disneyland for HalloweenTime. Everything's decorated, pumpkins, costumes...
it totally puts me in the mood for fall. But we always try to beat the actual Halloween rush.
Who wants to go to Disneyland when it's crowded?

We took my cute little cousin Tori. That was a BIG help. We tried to surprise her but that didn't quite work out. She's so cute. And Riley just loves her so much!  I swear she can get him to laugh like no one else can.
Side Note: I can still beat everyone at Buzz Lightyear one-handed with baby. Thanks ;)
This kid was totally diggin' Small World. He couldn't get enough of it.
And its funny cuz when we got home, he suddenly had a different look
at our pets. THEY MOVE TOO! It's amazing!
I got some good pictures of him on the ride, but this one is just so cute!
The new Little Mermaid was awesome.
Star Tours was awesome.
He also did pretty good on the Tower of Terror. Better than I thought he'd do.
Get ready for the new mommy in me here:
It was sure heart warming that people would walk past us and smile or laugh at our little guy, all day long.
We'd stop the stroller to see what he was doing... and he was just being himself. All smiles. He LOVES to smile at everyone! Or he gives one of his newest Pterradactyl screams.
Everytime we'd have Tori take a picture of the three of us...

We'd have several people walk by and offer to take a picture of all of us.
Kinda like we were terrible parents for only wanting a picture with our baby.
It seriously happened over 10 times.
We laughed and thought about telling them,
"Red-headed step child, I'm sure you understand *wink*"
So in this picture...that happened.
Now our family is complete, thanks to the courteous nosy tourists.
We were so surprised how much he LOVED the fireworks and World of Color.
During World of Color when the music would be loud... he'd look at Jake with HUGE eyes, and grab dad's face like "is this okay???"  But after he realized it was all good he really enjoyed the colors and lights!
And then the following night he loved the fireworks.
This picture is titled, "One Great Day!"
For a new mom considering Disneyland:
Well I'm not going to say that it was totally easy taking a baby to Disneyland, although my husband would disagree. Riley wasn't used to all the people and nosiness. I never realized how LOUD California Adventures speakers were EVERYWHERE until I was trying to find somewhere quiet to park the stroller.
The Baby Centers at each park were nice. So quiet, places to change, nurse, feed the baby, or just sit and watch a movie with the little ones. When we'd go in there, Riley was in heaven to get some quiet time.
We bought this smaller stroller before the trip.
We debated whether to bring our big one or this smaller one.
We ended up taking the small one. It for sure had its PROS and CONS.
I feel like they let us into to certain places & restaurants that we couldn't have with a big stroller.
It was quick and easy to get around the crowds.
It held  enough stuff in the bottom for what we needed.
But it was very short. Almost all the small ones come that way.
Perfect height for our little assistant! :)
For a baby that's in the middle of teething...(3 TEETH!) he did have his fussy moments.
Solution: Find a Waterfall.
We're not sure if he loves the sound because of his crib soother... or if all babies do...
but man it worked so good.
And there were so many at Disneyland, we never noticed!
By Dumbo, By Tarzan's Tree House, Snow White Waterfall, Back Side of TMountain, by Donald's Boat, Matterhorn falls. Sounds like he was fussy alot if we had to find that many haha.
But with all the crowds and people talking loud, it was the only way we could get him to fall asleep when he was tired. And people didn't care if your baby was asleep or not, they were still going to yell when they wanted. BUT our Auntie Jeanice made us the lovely Mickey blanket when Riley was born. It got so many compliments in Disneyland!
We also hit the beach. I'll have to blog about that later.
